Most likely the grease filters are clogged, the blower wheel is coated with grease buildup, or the hood isn't properly sized/positioned for your range. We can inspect and clean the blower assembly and assess whether the ventilation performance is recoverable.
Viking hood lights stopped working — is that a big repair?
Usually not. Hood light failures are typically a burned-out bulb, a faulty lamp socket, or a wiring issue at the light board. This is a straightforward repair in most cases.
